My son the parrot...

The last two weeks or so have been pretty remarkable. Nate's made some enormous leaps in his development particularly in his speech. He's added so many words each day we've given up trying to keep count and he seems to be using more two-word combos. He also runs faster and turns corners more deftly and he's jumping, leaving the ground with both feet.

Still cant make "L" sounds tho. Here's a recent scene:

Me: Let's go to your room.
Nate: Room.
Me: Because i think you've got a poop.
Nate: Poop.
Me: Then we can play with the ball.
Nate: Ball!
Me: Right. But only for a while then we have to take a bath.
Nate: Bath!!
Me: Yes, [pause] La-la-la!
Nate: .........
Me: Damn!
Nate: Damn?
